Bring me home for Christmas
Story link: Bring me home for Christmas
It’s only natural that individuals will want to be with their loved ones throughout the festive season as Alliance & Leicester suggest.
Of course this does prove that the grass isn’t greener on the other side, especially when the winter months are just as bad as what we have here in the UK!
Alliance & Leicester has conducted a survey of Brits living abroad which reveals that many of them would rather be spending Christmas with friends and family in the UK.
One in four expatriates surveyed said that they missed Christmas traditions like carol singers and roasted chestnuts, while 40 per cent said they missed spending the festive season with their families and 28 per cent said they missed Christmas with their friends.
